Colourful Easter Plates

Today Marilyn shares her easy to make Cookie|Charger Collage Plate DIY! This is a fun one to do with kids, not to mention a great way to use up all of that tissue paper you’ve been collecting! |

Here’s what you’ll need:

Pour hot water and sugar into bottle. Shake until all sugar is dissolved. |

Tear different size of strips of tissue paper and pile together |

Spritz the plate evenly with the sugar water |

Start with one colour and gently lay the tissue across the plate. Do this with several strips. |

Gradually add in the other colours. |

![]() |
If needed spritz lightly between layers and then all over again, once finished. |

With a soft cloth wipe excess sugar water off of edges. Let dry overnight. |

Once it has dried overnight, using a very sharp paring knife or blade trim off excess. |

Important! Place only dry food on plate! Once you finish using it, rinse with warm water and the collage will slide right off. |
